Accommodation in Cape Bridgewater

Cape Bridgewater is at the western most end of the Great Ocean Road about 21 kilometres south-west of Portland Victoria.  Cape Bridge Water is steeped in natural wonders with towering headlands and spectacular blow holes - a product of past volcanic activity in the region.

The scenic town of Cape Bridgewater has a handful of small B&B's and Guest Houses (see Cape Bridgewater Accommodation) all within a short walk along the beach to the village where you'll find shops and restaurants. There is a well maintained walking path that leads you along the Bridgewater Headland where you can watch the resident seal colony and whales as they migrate past the headland. To view the seal colony up close you can book a boat tour that takes you alongside rock platforms and into the mouth of a cave where you can see hundreds of seals in their own habitat.

Cape Bridgewater is surrounded by National Parks, and nearby attractions include the Petrified Forest, Blowholes, Freshwater Lakes and the Historic Shipwreck Trail.
